Week 10 already, its funny how long time feels in the moment. Hard to believe four to five weeks ago, I was ready to rip someone's head off. I'm still not necessarily pleased with my situation, however I feel much less...stressed, so to say. Unfortunately, I am unable to recall too much of what happened in the past week, other than the watching of a small documentary titled "Food Matters" in composition last Thursday, which was an intriguing film stressing the importance of a nutrient and vitamin diet, and how that despite modern medicine, it can do little to fix or prevent adverse health conditions due to poor nutrition. After seeing the documentary, I've actually decided to try and change my diet. I understand the unlikelihood of anything drastic anytime soon, given my affection for cake and fried chicken, however I decided to start off by adding more vitamins to my diet, in the form of multivitamins, fruit, raw vegetables, as well as the occasional salad. The opening quote to the film implied that Hippocrates stressed a good diet above all else, even going as far to saying "With regard to healing the sick, I will devise and order for them the best diet, according to my judgment and means" in his Hippocratic Oath. I've also found out, on Wikipedia (which supplied a Copy of the Hippocratic Oath to verify this), that "First, Do no Harm" was never actually stated in the oath, it was presumably invented by 19th Century Surgeon Thomas Inman.
As for how things went at home, my Brother turned 16 years old. He is already pushing to get himself behind the wheel, I personally find that funny how quickly he is jumping on the opportunity, however I don't doubt that he will be a good driver. I don't care for driving personally, I don't consider it to be practical given my financial situation, nor do I find it particularly enjoyable. I'll probably stick with the buses for now.
